Fusilli Garlic Pasta Toss

Easy to pull together and quite filling. The recipe is vegetarian though it would work well with any protein added in.

Fusilli Garlic Pasta Toss

Ingredients:

8 ounces uncooked small fusilli pasta

1 14-ounce can green beans, well drained

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1/2 tsp diced dried garlic (or 2 cloves fresh)

Pinch of red pepper flakes

Ground Black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Bring a pot of water to boil. Cook the pasta for the time on the package.

Meanwhile heat up the oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic and pepper flakes and stir for a minute or till you can start to smell the garlic. Add in the green beans and turn the heat off. Stir the beans gently till they quit sizzling. Add black pepper to liking.

Drain the pasta and add it into the beans. Stir to coat well. Toss in the cheese till well combined.

Serves 2-3.
