Spicy Sesame Roasted Garbanzo Beans

Last week I did a batch of roasted garbanzo beans that were perfect added cold to our dinner salad so I decided I needed a new version for tonight’s Asian inspired salad.

Spicy Sesame Roasted Garbanzo Beans

Ingredients:

1 15-ounce can garbanzo beans

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp lower sodium soy sauce

1/4 tsp dried ground ginger

1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions:

Heat your oven to 400°. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.

Drain the can of beans in a colander and rinse well. Shake dry, then blot with paper towels to remove more moisture. In a medium bowl mix the spices/sauce together. Toss the sauce with the beans, spread on the prepared pan.

Bake on the lowest rack in the oven for 15 minutes. Let cool, then store in the refrigerator.
