Tart Orange & Honey Yogurt Smoothies

You know that snarky feeling when you smugly think “Hah! I didn’t get my kid’s nasty germs?” Yeah…one to never toy with. The kids got sick WEEKS ago and are healthy now. I, however, picked up something similar right before Christmas and have felt icky since. It needs to go away. Making it worse is the blue skied weather we are having! I want to go hiking, instead I am making out with a box of Kleenex and chugging orange juice. I am sure the croup will go away as soon as the grey skies return 😉

The smoothie is pretty tart, even with the added sugar (it thickens the drink as well), so if you crave sweeter add in a banana or a bit more sugar.

  1. Oh man, you’re sick too! So sorry! Keep chugging that orange juice and this smoothie. Hopefully you’ll be on the mend soon. I really need to start making homemade yogurt again…… I’ve had success with almond, soy and cashew yogurts 🙂

  2. Sorry you’re sick! We are all sick too, sigh. Right now my one year old son is wearing a tissue box on his head so at least he still had a sense of humor 🙂 The smoothie looks great, will give it a try today! Hoping we all feel better soon.
