Cheese Garlic Biscuits

These take less time to make up as it does to heat the oven! And they go well with hearty soups – so perfect for cold winter days 🙂

Cheese Garlic Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp kosher salt

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp cream of tartar

1 Tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp granulated garlic

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup dairy milk

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2  Tbsp melted butter

1/8 tsp granulated garlic

Directions:

Heat the oven to 425*.

Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar, sugar and first garlic in a medium bowl.

Cut in the butter with a fork or pastry mixer until crumbly.

Mix in milk and cheese with the fork till blended.

Drop the dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, depending on how big you like you should get 10.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Mix the second garlic with the butter and brush in the biscuits after taking out of the oven.
