Maple Raisin Oatmeal

This oatmeal pulls together in under 15 minutes and serves up three large servings.

Maple Raisin Oatmeal


3 1/2 cups light vanilla soy milk

2 cups old fashioned oats

1/2 cup raisins

1/3 cup maple syrup


In a tall saucepan bring the milk to a gentle boil over medium high heat. Add in the maple syrup and raisins, let come back to a boil. Add in the oats, stir well, turn to medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. Take off the heat and let sit till thickened to your liking.

Makes 3 cups, or 3 large servings.
