It’s blueberry season in our garden, and the boys saw a recipe inspiration in the latest issue of High Five….so off we went to harvest:
And had a yummy breakfast in a few minutes time…..
Red White and Blue 4th of July Toast
- 1 piece bread per person
- 13 fresh blueberries per person
- Strawberry jam
- Soft or whipped cream cheese
Toast bread, let cool a bit, then spread on cream cheese as you like it.
Put on the blueberries. Make stripes with the jam (a small spoon works best).
