Apple Cinnamon Date Oatmeal
- 2 cups original almond milk
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 apple, peeled and cored, diced (used a Gala)
- 5 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped (about ½ cup)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp diced walnuts
- 1 Tbsp ground chia seed
Add everything through the maple syrup to a heavy medium saucepan, bring to a boil. Turn to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. Take off the heat and add in the walnuts and chia seeds, stirring in well.
