Vanilla Spice Oatmeal

A new take on our morning oatmeal –

Vanilla Spice Oatmeal


  • 2 cups original almond milk
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • Brown sugar for topping


Add the milk to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add in through the nutmeg and stir well, turning down to medium-low and let cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Take off the heat and stir in the vanilla and walnuts.

Serves 2.
